4-H Clubs in Dunn County

The 4-H Clubs in Dunn County page is meant to provide a brief description of each club and provide a general idea of each club meeting location. We currently have 14 active 4-H community clubs. The clubs are listed based on membership enrollment including smaller clubs, mid-size clubs, and larger clubs. Simply skim through the clubs you may be interested and check out the club meeting schedule and contact information  document. NOTE: All meeting times and location are subject to change. Smaller Clubs (less than 15 members)

Ideal

The Ideal 4-H club is a small club in Dunn County. They have meetings every first Sunday of the month at 2:00PM at the Menomonie Alliance Church. Some activities they are involved in include: aerospace, clothing and cultural arts, the dog project and food and nutrition. They also participate in 4-H on the air, and do a lot of community service in the community such as: June dairy month, Christmas shopping for families, creating care packages, and serving meals at Tuesday Table. Menomin Helping Hands

Menomin Helping Hands is a small club in Dunn County. They have meetings every first Monday of the month at the Dunn County Community Building at 7:00PM. They are active in foods projects, and sheep, along with the 4-H food stand and the pie and ice cream social.  Contact Wendy Maves at 715-828-5384 for any further questions.

Millroad Rockets

Millroad Rockets 4-H Club is a small club in Dunn County. They have meetings every first Monday of the month at 6:00PM at the Lucas Town Hall. Medium Clubs (16-30 members)

Connorsville Comets

The Connorsville Comets 4-H club is a medium size club in Dunn County. The Connorsville Comets have meetings every second Monday of the month at 6:30PM at the Connorsville Town hall. Some activities that the Connorsville Comets are very active in include: rabbits, poultry, goats, sheep, cake decorating, leathercraft, quilting, drawing, photography and many more. Hay River Helpers

Hay River Helpers 4-H Club is a medium club in Dun County. They have meetings every second Monday of the month at 6:30PM at the TCE cafeteria in Boyceville, Wisconsin. Some activities they are involved in include: horses, swine, beef, aerospace and the 4-H food stand. Knapp Valley 4-Hers

The Knapp Valley 4-H club is the newest club in Dunn county. They were started in the fall of 2015 and have grown very well. Their meetings are the second Monday of the month at 7:00PM at the Knapp Town hall. They can be considered a medium club. Some of the activities that the Knapp Valley 4-H club is involved in are: dairy, small animals, rocketry, and battle of the clubs. Rock Falls Rockets

The Rock Falls Rockets 4-H club is a medium club in Dunn County. The Rock Falls Rockets have meetings every first Sunday of the month at 6:00PM at the Rock Falls Town Hall. Some activities that the Rock Falls Rockets are very active in include: roadside clean-up, June Dairy Days, drama fest, swine, dairy, dogs, plant and soil sciences, horses foods and nutrition, knitting, photography and many more. They also host an Easter bash every year for the community. The general leader of the Rock Falls Rockets is Missy Hazen and she can be reached at 715-495-3326 for any questions.

 

 

Large Club (More than 31 members)

22’ers

The 22’ers 4-H club is a large club in Dunn County. The 22’ers have meetings every fourth Monday of the month at 7:30PM at the Grant Town Hall. They are active in horses, the 4-H food stand, and small animals. Contact Christie Hill at 715-962-4407 for any further questions.

Cedarlings

The Cedarlings 4-H club is a large club in Dunn County. The Cedarlings have meetings every first Monday of the month at 6:30PM at the Rusk Town Hall or Tainter Methodist Church. They are active in small animals, the dog project, horses and softball. Contact Jay Ivens at 715-308-7165 for any further questions.

Colfax Comets

The Colfax Comets 4-H club is a large club in Dunn County. The Colfax Comets have meetings every second Monday of the month at 6:30PM. During the school year, Colfax High School Cafeteria, and then during the summer months, varies, and includes the Colfax Fair Grounds. The Colfax Comets are involved in a lot of various activities some of those include: providing meals for families in need at Thanksgiving, making cookie baskets at Christmas time, making Valentine’s day cards for residents of the Colfax Rehabilitation Center, Bingo with the residents, roadside cleanup in May, planting flowers and cleaning of exhibition building at the Colfax Fairgrounds. They also work at the 4-H food stand and have social activities like sledding. Elk Meadow

Elk Meadow 4-H club is a large club in Dunn County and have members in Elk Mound, Menomonie and the Eau Calire school districts. They have meetings every first Monday of the month at 7:00PM for the general meeting, 6:30PM for younger members at the Elk Mound Middle School. Some activities they are involved in include: softball, swine, dairy, beef, horses, poultry, dog, cat, home environment, photography, dairy judging, food and nutrition, aerospace and many more.This club offers unique community service outreach offerings including June Dairy month, roadside clean-up and volunteering at the community table in Eau Claire. Little Elk Creek

Little Elk Creek is the largest 4-H club in Dunn County. They have meetings every first Monday of the month at 7:00PM at the Little Elk Creek Church. They are active in dairy judging, dairy, swine, beef, softball and the 4-H food stand. Missouri Valley

Missouri Valley is a large club in Dunn County. They have meetings every second Sunday of the month at 1:00pm at the Eau Galle Civic Center. Willing Workers

The Willing Workers 4-H club is a large club in Dunn county. The Willing Workers 4-H club meets every second Sunday of the month at 7:00PM at The Clubhouse-Irvington. Some activities that the Willing Workers 4-H club are involved in include: dairy, swine, beef, and softball. They are also involved in roadside clean-up, Christmas for kids, Battle of the clubs, sledding and a Halloween hayride and a Halloween party.
