The 2017 4-H National Youth Science Day curriculum has been released! This year’s engineering challenge Incredible Wearables- is a fun way for kids to build wearable fitness trackers. From watches and eye wear to fashion and virtual reality headsets, wearable technologies are fast becoming the must-have accessory for forward thinkers. This year’s challenge will see youth use the engineering design process to build a low cost prototype wearable health monitor following the engineering design process. The kit is perfect for classrooms, clubs, and at home learning. The 70-90 minute hands-on project is suitable for 4th – 12th graders. Each kit can serve 4- 8 youth at a time and is reusable.
Several kits are here for Dunn County 4-H clubs to pick up anytime!! Call Stephanie Hintz, 715-231-6690 for more information.
