Some highlights include:
- Volunteer Training, Did you miss the last volunteer training and want to attend the next? Does your club still need to fulfill the volunteer training requirements for the charter next year? You are in luck, we are planning another volunteer training in January. Please fill out this quick two question poll to let us know what day will work best for everyone. This event is for adult leaders and teen leaders alike! We have already held one training and it was a success! If you or at least one person has not participated in the volunteer training it is highly encouraged to sign up for the next one. This will fulfill training requirements to complete your charters next year.
- The Tri-County Music Festival, Tri-County Speaking, Demonstration and Music Festival will be hosted by Chippewa County on January 13, 2018 at the Cadott Middle School. This festival is open to all 4-H members from Chippewa, Dunn, and Eau Claire County. Registration and event information can be found here.
- When am I getting my Fair Checks? The Dunn County Fair Board processes the Fair Premiums/Checks. They are working to get the Fair checks out to the members as soon as possible. There have been several barriers to processing the Fair checks including issues with inaccurately recording scores on the new Fair Entry system and the routing number/county name being printed inaccurately on the first set of blank checks. This year the Fair Board is going to mail the checks directly to the families. The checks should be in the mail by Monday, December 4th, if you have any questions please contact the Fair Board, 715-232-4005.
